Super slow greens (6 or 7 stimp)
Huge holes or high bumps in cart paths...that can easily be repaired
Golfers that repeatedly don't know when it's their turn to hit
No ranger on a course that has ONE GROUP 4 holes behind

JW - True Dat - 4 holes behind - no ranger that will say anything - No one thinks they're the slow group - Which is another pet peeve - Rangers that won't say anything. It's pretty standard everywhere. I worked a big am tournament in Chattanooga every year - I got them to institute a ranger flag system. Green flag flying - no problem, Yellow flag, please speed up, black flag possible slow play penalty. Another quick story - worked the qualifying for the Chattanooga Nationwide tournament - each of us was rules and marshaling for 3 holes. At some point I'm waiting for the next group to come through - and waiting and waiting - finally the next group comes through three holes behind and I put them on the clock - boy were they pissed - their comment was we're not slow. In the end it was a 6 hours for the qualifying round!

I have always made it a habit to fix my ball mark and at least one other on every hole. League nights are the worst. The day after there are marks everywhere.
The peeve about single golfers was a good one.
Ball marks and raking the frigging traps. Does anyone rake traps anymore? Nothing like finding your ball in a footprint in the trap. Driving up to the group that’s on the tee box and slamming on the cart brakes.
It just dawned on me that golfers never see the pros on TV rake a bunker, because the
caddy does it and they don't show that.
There are still enough golfers around who fix their ball marks and extras, even if we
didn't create a ball mark. Hopefully ball mark fixers are doing it correctly, because a
lot of repaired ball marks are done poorly, leaving a dirt spot, seen mostly on bent greens.
Hybrid bermuda greens are helping to reduce the ball mark problem.

My take :
- People not respecting their handicap and then trying to play from the wrong set of tees.
- Players who aren't respectful enough to repair their ball marks on the greens or putting back their divots where they belong first.
- Having to wait because of slow players thinking they're playing for a real green jacket and millions of $$$.

Hole 18 and the group that is in front of you finishes up. Stands on the green and has an after action review and then goes to their carts and empties their pockets, gets their watch out of the bag, puts the tees back up, cleans their clubs, talks for a bit, and then sits there and adds their score up. Move out of the way please and do that somewhere else.
Getting paired with someone you don't know...and they are golf experts...then they ask me.." Wanna know what you're doing wrong"?
I say "No"
They say " Are ya sure?... cuz I know what you're doing wrong"
I want to say "the only thing I'm doing wrong is golfing with you", but I just say..."No, I'm good"
............................................................
Or they are members at the club... and they want to tell me where to hit EVERY shot and which way EVERY putt will break.
I DO appreciate kindness, but that's a lil overboard.I don't mind a few tips on the tough holes, but I can read a green

Anyone spitting seeds on the greens should be shot on sight.
