Pulled up to the bag drop at Prestwick today - and while I'm waiting for the car in front of me, the guy is PUTTING ON HIS GOLF SHOES AT THE BAG DROP! Not the first time I've seen this. Pull up to the bag drop then get the H... out of the way!

I don't like that either.  Although at some of the courses you can see if the
bag drop is backed up, before deciding to use it or park first.
Some guys think they can change their shoes quickly and avoid walking back
from where they park.

At home I load/unload my bag with balls, clubs, water, etc, the night before.
In MB, I prefer to park then load/unload my bag.   If I bag drop, I often have to
go back to the car for something, since it's out of routine.

See this all the time, most bag drop guys will say, "that is the group/s that will slow down play all day", they also seem to arrive 5 minutes before their tee time.

So you're on the practice putting green & its fairly crowded. There's always that guy that once he has putted out, he gets his balls out of the cup, then drops them about 2 feet away from the hole to start putting to the next target, effectively blocking off about 50% of access to that hole. Step a couple paces away & let other people use the cup you just played to.

Golf can best be defined as an endless series of tragedies obscured by the occasional miracle.

White cup liners! In my unscientific research - they keep some putts from dropping that otherwise would have gone in!

Mine is not just a Myrtle Beach thing but something that happens all over.  People who show up 10-30 minutes past their tee time and still expect to be sent right off the tee.

People just playing nine holes who think they can tee off #10 while you are on #9's green making the turn.

and

The single in a cart who comes out during peak hours expecting to just play through every single group in front of them and refuses to pair up with a twosome or threesome.  (Most courses wouldn't even allow this, but I've seen it happen fairly often.)

I hate when people place there clubs/Bag or cart on wrong side of green so they have to take longer to get out of the way.

I agree about the shoe thing at bag drop.

I will putt at the guy that stands that close, LOL.

In golf forums, they argue if it's a HIO or not.  Technically the ball has to be below the
surface of the green.    When wedged against the pin, you are allowed to remove the pin,
so you should be allowed to remove the liner to watch it drop.

I hate when there is a foresome in front of you and are not that good golfers who when all four of them are within 2o yards of each other width wise in the fairway have to go to the 1st ball and wait till he hits then the whole group goes to the next ball and so on... never hear about ready golf????  Of course each needs  3 or 4 practice swings to go 100 feet

Art - That is the ultimate insult a HIO that isn't a HIO

Crenshaw - how often do we see that! Especially if the drive is only 200 yards! Next one will automatically be topped - it's a rule!

Courses that over-water the fairways. Can't tell you how many times I see the sprinklers running while it's raining. Can't tell you how many times I see the irrigation running when the forecast calls for a 90-100% chance of rain the next 24 hours. Seems like some supers just leave the irrigation on auto-pilot.

I have some that gets me

1 Not fixing ball marks

2 waiting to hitsecond shot on par 5's when there is no way they good reach to green  since there drive barely went 200 yards

3 Not playing ready golf

4 leaving sunflower seed everywhere

Just my take!!

Do agree about over watering
