Just played Tidewater for the first time this year.  I love the layout and that it places a premium on the second shots.   Several holes remind me of the Kiawah Ocean Course.   Couple of tough and interesting par 3s along the Marsh.

Greens are quick, even though they look overseeded and bit crumbly.  They must get very fast later in the year.

pace of play was good just over 4 hrs.  Perhaps because there was a ranger omnipresent.  One of the rare occurrences in MB courses.

Green fees are high if you walk-in, but super low If you get the players card.  I plan to do that.

The only complaint I have is the fairway conditions.  All fairways are pretty hard with very tight lies. Is it because of the time of the year?  Many course in MB had softer and lush fairways even in January.

I feel you can never go wrong with a game at Tidewater, many scenic holes and 18 is one great finishing one to end your day.  Thanks for your report.

One of my must play courses in MB. Need to play the right tee areas.

My last encounter with Tidewater was maybe three years ago. Glad you have enjoyed the course.
