Played the Shaft today, beautiful warm day 72* with clear sunny skies.  This course is in great shape from tee to green, roughs are all dormant so the green fairways stand out nicely.  Course was busy but everyone moved along and our POP was 4 hours even.  Fertilizer has been put on the greens and spraying of the fairways was also being done to help things along as the upcoming weather will be helping the course to be ready for the on slot of golfers in March/April.

Green speed was 10 at least, traps all raked, and ball sat up perfectly on the fairways, not a must play but if you wish good conditions this is the spot to play IMO.

You are probably noticing that the fairway overseed keeps getting
better as it matures.

Thanks for your report!

Excellent Gary.  Glad to read about the good conditions!  Still need to play this one too.

Good sound to my ears Lefty! Was it very busy at the Shaft today?

I guess I should try and get back to The Shaft.  Have a raincheck that is five years old!

@s333h

The place was packed today but all players moved around the course good, no delays at all.
