It was River Hills’s ( https://www.facebook.com/RiverHillsGolf and https://riverhillsgolf.com) turn to receive our visit today, for the first of two rounds on the program This is the fourth time we have played this course (the last time was in 2018), which underwent major renovations in the summer of 2022 (new enlarged greens) as well as major work on the sand traps in winter 2023. And, quite frankly, we shouldn't have waited this long to come back here!
We are talking here about a course which was in superb condition overall, with a beautiful mix of urbanization and forest that is a good test of golf, with a variety of holes, whatever the tees you choose to play. We did from 6400 yards from the red tees and from 4979 yards for the ladies tees. We especially liked holes # 16 (a short but narrow by 4), # 17 (a par 5 which represents the most difficult hole of the course), as well as # 18, a fairly long par 4 which is a challenge in itself with his pronounced dogleg to the right and a green that sits at the top of a good slope.
By the way, all the staff at the course was very friendly and everyone here made us feel like we were family members!
In short, River Hills is a “hidden gem” that is probably one of the best value for money in the area and you should not hesitate to put it on your golf agenda for your next visit!

River Hills is one of those courses that seems to never disappoint, thanks for your report and pics.
Great course, greens are very tough. Lots of wildlife to see as well, as an added bonus.
