Hey boys, this will be 22 years for me and I haven't player either of those courses. I'll be playing in August. Which do you like better and why? Which has more room off the tee. Thank you
River Hills can be pretty tight and hilly in spots compared to Arcadian
They are at the same tier in MB.
Arcadian Shores has more room off the tee.

I agree that AS has more room off the tee but I like RH better. More diverse holes and newer greens and traps.
If you're looking for room off the tee, Arcadian Shores would be way more convenient for you!

River Hills back 9 can be brutal, tight off the tee and water comes into play on 5 or 6 holes, front side is easier IMO. Arcadian Shores over the winter was better then okay, not tight at all and holes 2 and 13 were on the Best 18 in MB's original list, you can score on AS as well as the Par 5's are not to long if you play the proper tees for your game.
I will likely be staying at SeaWatch Resort in October, which is literally across the street from Arcadian Shores - which, believe it or not, is a course I have never played in over 20 years of travel to MB.
My question is: Does this course fit the bill as an "opening day" course, if the remainder of the rounds are at places like Grande Dunes, Pine Lakes and Willbrook?
Arcadian Shores is a good first day course for that lineup.
