We played here today on a sunny, warm afternoon. The course is in terrific condition. Great overseed on the fairways and tees. Greens were good,not really fast but still a challenge. The areas around the greens, like the collars and chipping areas were the best of any course I have played this winter. Very smooth and well mowed. Many courses the greens are good but the grass just off the greens are kind of scrappy and inconsistent. Meadowlands is the place to go for above average conditions right now.Our pace of play was four hours. Things moved along pretty well on a busy course.
Thanks for reporting. I just wish it's sister course - Farmstead - was still open. Meadowlands is a very good golf experience.
Playing Meadowlands on 5/2. Been quite a few years since our last round at there.
I recall back then it seemed like it was more locals and less so package golfers.

I played Meadowlands yesterday on a sunny, warm and windy afternoon. Like reported recently the course is in great condition. The overseed on the fairways and tees is perfect. The rough is not overseeded. The greens are beautiful, certainly the best greens i have played since my arrival. The conditions at Meadowlands are top notch presently. i was prepared to a very busy course, but we played in 4hrs 15. The starter has done a great job. The wind was a factor yesterday, the selection of the right club to reach the greens was a challenge on many holes. There are a lot of sand traps and the greens are well protected. It was the perfect day to practice my play in the sand. It is positive thinking.

I also had plenty of practice from the sand during my round at Meadowlands. Great course conditions.
