Enjoyed to play the course last Wednesday. I hadn't played Shaft since two years because of the covid 19 situation and the closing of the borders. Such fun to play golf again. The course was in great condition - they did superb job of overseeding in the fairways. Greens were true but slow about 8 to 8.5. I played in a forsome in 4 hours and 15 minutes. Shaftesbury Glenn plays long for it's yardage as all the greens are elevated and need to add a quarter to half club on almost all approach shots. It's a good mid tier layout. Certainly a must to play presently in terms of conditions.

Glad you got down with no border crossing issues and are enjoying the courses like the Shaft, agree with you it is in very nice condition.
Sure, it is my intention to enjoy the place. We had a very weather since our arrival in the seventies.

S***H played Shaftsbury yesterday, 3 holes CPO, lots of roll on the fairways, greens a touch slower then past games their, POP just over 4 hours, a local guy hooked up with us and hit it close to 300 every hole, fun to watch.
I played again Shaftesbury Glen today. Conditions are almost perfect from tees to greens. The superintendant has done a great job to prepare the course for this spring. The starter has done a great job today, we started on time. The POP was inside 5 hrs. I am suppose to replay the golf course next week. It is presently one of the best value course in Myrtle Beach.

I agree 100%. Best value for sure. Played the Shaft in 3 hours last Wednesday afternoon when the big storm was brewing and kept most people away. Seems like we had the entire course to ourselves.
Thanks for the update on a course i have played but not since the renovation. I will add it to my list.
