What are the best conditioned greens that you have ever played in Myrtle Beach? By best conditionned greens, i mean in terms of  trueness which is consistency of result in line and length. It has nothing to do with the speed, the firmness, the color, or the grass type. On that basis, i would select those at Prestwick.

I agree that Prestwick has very good greens but my favorite is Farmstead.  Very consistent with good speed.

Have yet to play the new Dunes greens, but the old ones putted very good for  me.  Cape Fear National is another one with very good greens.

I remember one fall a few years ago we played Shaftsbury on a day when the course should have been closed due to standing water. We are on a four day trip, we are not going to take a raincheck. Four other guys from Jersey played the front nine, we played the back first. The course was essentially underwater but the greens were amazing. The elevated greens on the course finally paid off for us. Without them we would not have been able to play.

In recent 3 or4 years , I've played ARROWHEAD twice and they were great both times.

I may not be considered a good source because I  only vacation in MB  and usually don't play the course twice in a 4 year span.

All great choices so far!

I would personally add Bald Head Island to that list!

With the transition of grass between seasons, some choices will depend on the
time of year we go to MB.  Go in Feb-April and it might be easy to pick
MOW + Wizard, but maybe not in the summer/fall.

The Dunes has been the best I have putted, especially since they got the new Champions.

Prestwick, Dunes, Surf Club, Wachesaw Private - all terrific. None of them over seed. Kings North, Arrowhead, Farmstead, Arcadian a notch below. So much depends on the weeks of weather, but day in day out throughout the year - the first four I mentioned. I assume that the Reserve greens are also top notch.

I have always felt that is one area that the courses in the Grandstrand area seem to struggle with. It is hard to find great greens. Probably the best I have putted are at the Wizard, Surf Club(haven't played it for awhile), and Prestwick is usually pretty good.

Surf Club greens are also very good.
They converted from Bent to Hybrid in 2016.

Thistle is always in excellent condition - I put there greens a bit under the four I mentioned

Many courses in the area were struggling with their greens last year. Thistle was an exception.
