Very good condition - 3 holes CPO but easily playable as really not wet at all. Greens were a good speed, rolled true, tees, fairways, and roughs were a joy to play. Cart paths were better than MB average. This is a good course that doesn't get the respect it deserves. Not a difficult course, but plenty of variety to be an interesting round. Fairly open and greens that are not flat, but not severely sloped either. It's run by PGA Professional Christa who used to be over Litchfield and River Club and has an excellent staff. If you haven't played Tradition - go, you won't be sorry. Falls right into JW's - King of the Mid Tiers range.

I really like Tradition. It is a course I could play a lot. As you mention, plenty of variety and I find it always to be in good shape.  One of my favorites.

It's good to hear that the new greens are good.     Thanks!

If Tradition was on the north side it would be in the rota often.

Tradition also has a very good practice area, never played this course and found it poor condition wise.

Give it shot. I have been there several times the last few years. It is even better now with the new greens.  I really like the course. It is an upper mid tier course as mentioned above.

UGP

I pulled into the Tradition parking lot in Oct 2017 .

Bag drop guy got my bag into a cart.

Went in to pay...getting my wallet out and started raining cats n dogs.

Had a great half hour conversation with the pro.

Don't remember his name, but great guy.

..didn't get to play...still on the bucket list.

Course looked "housey" but nice.

Classy looking facility .

Gary, if you've never played Tradition before definitely give it a try. Probably played here a half-dozen times and never found the conditions to be off. Also not many homes off the fairways.
