Played it today. This course reminds me more of a Pinehurst area course with the wasteb bunkers that you can drive in. I find it to be a pretty tough course and if you aren't on top of your game it can get away from you. That being said, the greens are in rough shape there. They are probably going to have some serious issues later on this year.  you could ride the fairways today.    The course could have a lot of potential and is unique design for the area. But, they have some green issues for sure.

Founders greens are a Emerald hybrid, only course with that in MB.
They were good when it opened.    Don't know if maint or weather has got them.

Time to switch to Sunday hybrid, like a lot of other MB courses, IE FGI's Tradition
and Pine Hills.

I really like the routing at Founders - a good pretty tough course. Sorry to hear about the greens - they were good last time I played. I get there maybe once a year as it is a long drive from where I live and pass by numerous other great courses along the way. Hopefully, someone will play it in the next month and report that the greens got better.

I like the layout, the Par 3's here are all good ones, 18 is a very tough driving and second shot hole if you tend to hit it left, long lake will eat your ball.  Overall for the price it is a good course IMO.

Thanks for this interesting input!

Played there once and really did like my overall experience. Specially had a knack for the back nine!
