First of all, we’ll tell you this: we are “blue”… True Blue (see https://www.facebook.com/TrueBlueGolf and https://www.truebluegolf.com/)! Our last visit to True Blue was in the summer of 2015 and we can sincerely tell you that we should never have waited so long to come back here and be moved once again by this masterpiece signed by the late architect Mike Stranz!
And to add to that wonderful privilege, I had the immense pleasure to share this round of golf with @ArtMBGolf and @JW11 and I want publicly thank those two great guys for letting me play with them earlier today. It's always so much fun to play golf with MBGT Forum members and this time was no exception.
What can we say about what they call the “sister course” of the famous Caledonia? It's quite different from Caledonia for sure, but be assured that quality is also on the menu. The fairways are really, really wide, making the course forgiving from the tee boxes. We placed 11 of our 13 tee shots in the fairway (except for par 3s), so if we are able to do it, a vast majority of golfers can do the same.
In terms of conditions, at this time of year, it was simply IMPECCABLE from A to Z. The greens, relatively fast and responsive, were absolutely fantastic. We played the course from the white tees (a “long” 6215 yards) and tell yourself that no hole on this course is boring, quite the contrary!
The 18th, a 350-yard par 4 from the white tees, is a truly spectacular finishing hole, where you must be precise with your second shot to land safely on the green. Unfortunately, we narrowly missed this one, having had to settle for an honorable bogey!
So, for those thinking of adding True Blue to their golf agenda, please treat yourself with this privilege!

Very nice golf course designed by the late Mike Strantz. True Blue and Caledonia are two very different golf courses in terms of design, but i like both of them. You and Art seems to be in great shape. Enjoy your trip.

Always nice to hook up with Forum Members and enjoy your day with them. True Blue is a very good course, some say it is unique in its design compared to most MB area courses, to me it is a course we would play in a heartbeat every time we are down. Thanks again for report on this course Denis.
True Blue easily my favorite course in MB. Land lots of land for your tee shots and then requires a lot of precision for your approach shots.
