Would appreciate any advice on the following for mid-April trip. Our group usually stays up towards North Myrtle and Cherry Grove, but wanted to venture south end of the stand this time.
Pawleys Plantation
Blackmoor
Willbrook
Pine Lakes
The first three are new to us. We added Pine Lakes because we had such a good time there last year.
Looking to stay in Murells Inlet area if that matters, also what is a good bar around there. Uncle Titos?
Your lineup is fine, but you could make it better.
Depending on where you have played and other criteria:
Heritage is a upgrade over Pawleys
TPC is a big upgrade over Blackmoor, but at a higher cost.
Willbrook is a very good choice.
If driving/flying after golf, Pine Lakes would be best on your last day.

Pawley's is a nice course, it can be fun to play. Blackmoor is a ton of doglegs but still a fun course. Willbrook is another nice course to play. Glad you played Pine Lakes i have never been there to give you an opinion.
I stay in Murrells Inlet, bar i like is Greg's Cabana by the Walmart. Great food and good drinks.
Let the Big Dawg Bark!!!
Pine Lakes was great for our group. It is not the most challenging course, but perfect for our group skill level. Conditions were top notch.
Good to hear about Pawleys Plantation, I know it is another Jack design so it will be tough. Was curious about conditions though as we play Long Bay a bunch and last time it seemed a little tired. Still a fan of the course though. Hope it was just an off week or something.
Thanks for the tips.
Caledonia is the best course down there (and probably the best public course anywhere in the whole MB area), but they know that and it's priced accordingly. True Blue, TPC Myrtle Beach, and Heritage Club are also all better courses than the ones you've listed.
I've also heard good things about one of the other courses right there with Willlbrook -- can't remember if it was Tradition or River Club, but I'm pretty sure it was River Club.
For the money I think Arrowhead is the best conditioned course in MB for the money. Agreed about Heritage is a class above/
