Got stuck playing Litchfield on Sunday as we needed a course down south and it was the only one available. Have never been a fan of the conditions and layout until now. Litchfield is in wonderful condition tee to green. Far better than at any other time I played it. And perhaps because of the great condition (even the roughs were playable) I found the old routing to be a very good challenge. It requires several different types of shots, and you need to be aware of where the water is. Go play it.

I enjoyed it more than River Club the year I played both of them and it was in better shape too.

We have never found Litchfield to be in poor condition over the winter time, would head back in a heartbeat, thanks for your report.
