Greetings!
Weather conditions: cloudy and windy, 77 degrees Farenheit
Beginning of a two-week stay in Myrtle Beach, where we will have the privilege of playing a total of seven beautiful rounds of golf.
The start of our stay in Myrtle Beach, where we'll have the privilege of playing a total of seven beautiful rounds of golf. And on Sunday, May 31st, we had the pleasure of playing Legends Heathland ( https://www.legendsgolf.com/club/scripts/golf/view_course.asp?CID=1114&NS=LEGENDS - par 71, 6,138 yards from the white tees, 4,529 yards for ladies), and once again, WOW! That's what comes to mind for our fifth ever visit to this course.
The place was packed when we arrived, as usual, but everything ran smoothly at the "bag drop." And what can we say about the training complex, vast and probably among the best equipped in the entire greater Myrtle Beach area!
That said, even though we don't often have the opportunity to play links-style courses, we truly enjoyed our golfing experience, despite winds blowing at over 25 miles per hour. From the tees to the greens, the conditions were excellent. Almost nothing to complain about!
A minor drawback, however, was the greens, which were quite slow, most likely due to the lack of rain in Myrtle Beach these past few weeks (and we certainly didn't want it to rain during our stay...). If they had been just a little bit faster, it would have made the day perfect!
And contrary to what we often hear from people who frequent the Legends group's courses, the pace of play was perfectly fine, with the round taking 4 hours and 15 minutes.
All in all, if you plan to visit the Legends complex during the next few weeks or months, we just hope you have already made your tee times (if not, give us a call at 1 800 708-7174), since their famous package (with breakfast, lunch and two beers) is a really popular one and all the staff deserves a lot of credit for making this place a gem!
Coming up next: World Tour on Tuesday, June 2!

Thanks for sharing your first round of golf, in 2026, at the Legends. This place for playing golf is unique. Always fun to play there. I wish you a nice weather during your stay. Very nice pictures.
''It's just golf, let's have fun''
@6542golf That really sucks, my friend! I'll be playing (with my wife and another couple) my last round on June 10th, and we're leaving on Friday, June 12th. I really would have loved to play with you, the legendary "Brownwood Bandit"! Hopefully another time!

Great opening course my friend. Hope all goes well and your wife doesn't beat you too bad at golf. Sad you missed Bandit, there is nothing like playing with a pro like him. He plays golf so great but the best part is he is an awesome person.
