Group's 64th year would be a 1962 start.   Only 4 MB courses then.  
 
I haven't heard anything bad about your courses.  
We rarely hear about Litchfield.  

Here is my subjective take on the courses we played.  We played all 5 of the courses on the agenda and had two pre-tourney rounds. The starters were Founders Club and Azalea Sands were only two of us played. Many Thanks to my good friend Coach Dzik who comped us on Founders.

Generally, all the courses played were in great shape to excellent shape. Shorts Weather every day with a hoodie needed at the start the typically off by the second hole.

My Greens ranking: Grande Dunes, Litchfield, Meadowlands, Founders Club, Blackmoor, Oyster Bay and Azalea Sands. All of them were fast and true. Grande Dunes had the largest greens which were spectacular. Oyster Bay had the most diabolical pin placements. Being above the hole at all 5 courses treacherous fast downhill putts were the norm. Litchfield greens were very good had my best putting day on them. The rest of the courses were all in great shape with the smallest of greens being AZ.

Fairways ranking:  Grande Dunes, Litchfield, Meadowlands, Founders Club, Blackmoor, Oyster Bay and Azalea Sands.  Grande Dunes fairways were wide and  super fast. The run out was excellent. We rode the fairways all week. When we had to ride Cart Paths all of courses were fine with the exception of AZ. They need to work on them.

Rough ranking:  Meadowlands, Litchfield, Blackmoor, Oyster Bay, Founders Club, Azalea Sands and  Grande Dunes.  Meadowlands was by far the most penal. I lost my match on 18 due to a lost ball over the green.

Tee boxes ranking:  Grande Dunes, Litchfield, Meadowlands, Founders Club, Blackmoor, Oyster Bay and Azalea Sands. The majority of the tee areas were fine, but each course had at least one area which was mostly sand covered with sparse grass.

Bunkers ranking: Grande Dunes, Litchfield, Meadowlands, Founders Club, Blackmoor, Oyster Bay and Azalea Sands. Azalea Sands gets this ignominious nod because I was in at least twelve bunkers that day. All had groomed and good sand. OB had some spotty sand conditions and hole 13 had reconstruction of the bunkers on the right which gave  a free drop if you entered.

Course Staff (Proshop, Bag Drop, Beverage): Grande Dunes, Oyster Bay, Founders Club, Litchfield, Azalea Sands, Meadowlands and Blackmoor. GD wins this category by a wide margin. I happened to win their Teal Tuesday chip contest and was awarded a dozen TaylorMade golf balls. I should have received NIL monies for my promotional internet  spot. OB gave a sandwich and two drink ticket which pushed them ahead of the rest.

The Restaurants Carolina Roadhouse, River City Cafe, The Claw House and Patio's. All were fine.  The Claw house was a newcomer and will be a staple since Sloppy Jose’s was shuttered.

Overall, another great trip.   The Slicers took home the Dick Sweeney Memorial Trophy. Would recommend all the courses to put on your agenda.

Thanks for the report.  Grande Dunes is a wonderful course and has been in great shape every time I've played it.  Meadowlands can play long and (as you said) the rough is pretty challenging.  

Grande Dunes has been made more premium during recent years.

Thanks for your excellent breakdown of the courses. Glad you had a wonderful trip! I have played all but a couple of them on your list. ONe question I have is, how was Founders for you? We played it by accident a couple years ago and was so impressed with it.

@jbshepherds Founders was in great shape,  The only downfall was the many street crossings throughout the layout. But Greens and  fairways were awesome. The staff was excellant.
