This spot is located at the old Overtime Sports Bar, very large inside and they can accommodate big groups. They have a large selection of beer, lots of Craft ones plus the old stand by's. Menu is manly Pub Grub and portions are good size, price to us were middle of the road for what you got. If you are a Bait eater they have Sushi as well 😀 The place was busy when we went so it could be a hit, hopefully they will stick around like their spot located by the 501 entrance to Legends.
not sure when it opened, but it was packed, new one is also supposed to open in Barefoot landing someone said.

Bait eater. Ha! Never thought about it like that. I guess I am included in that group.
Should not use the words " Bait Eater ", picked up the term from a friend who is a bigger meat and potato eater then I am. Drove by the place on Monday on our way to Trivia and it was packed again.
Don't knock it until you tried it. I didn't eat sushi until much later in life.
When it's fresh and in great combinations like a specialty roll ...it is a feast for the taste buds.
It has to be good quality though...there are many average sushi places that aren't worth eating there
Grumpy monk has a large menu and very diverse options. I eat at the one at Legends on 501 every now and then but I usually get something other than sushi. My wife and I absolutely love sushi, but we go to King Kong in Carolina forest for that, its the best I've found in Myrtle Beach. Otherwise, Grumpy's selection of craft beer and entrees are awesome!
