Just read that the Crooked Hammock brewery will be opening in Barefoot landing.  Craft beers and a barbecue style menu.  Love a good craft beer.  Have been spoiled by 3 Floyd's being only 5 blocks from my home course.

The news I've been waiting for.

Bruce , I live a half hour from 3floyds.

Been there many times and usually have dinner, then grab some takeout cases of beer.

You must play the course directly east of there off of Calumet Ave.

Never been there.

Thanks for the info.

Gary where do you buy your beer in Myrtle Beach ?

I've been going to Pavilion in North Myrtle Beach

..it's a little expensive but they are well stocked but make sure you check the dates (on the bottles or cans) to make sure it's fresh.

Two full aisles of beers from around thd country.

Actually,  Kroger and Bi-Lo have decent selections in their  coolers.

Mellow Mushroom has a good variety on tap at their bar. Probably 30 tappers.

@jw11

We like to go to Lowe's for beer good variety of craft and regular label, Kroger and BiLo as well have a decent stock.  We do not head to any of the Mellow Mushrooms, but friend who do like the large selection.  A little spot called Atlas just off of 10th Avenue between 17 and Ocean Blvd. has some good selections as well.  Even Green's downtown has a good choice.  Will stop by and take a look at the Pavillion, go there for spirits but not beer.

Total Wine in Myrtle (across the parking lot from Costco) has the most beer in any one location I've ever seen.  And the liquor prices and variety are worth a stop every time I'm down that way.

I'm waiting for craft whiskey!

Golf is just an excuse to drink whiskey and smoke cigars

Nice find Metric - Bourbon sounds good.  We tend to favor spirits to beer while on the course or in the condo, but beer at dinner.
