Have a trip planned for late March, and have some guys who have never been to Myrtle before.
In the years past Broadway has been the place to go, but the last few times the scene has been lacking besides the dueling piano bar.
We are staying in North Myrtle, so where would you recommend if not Broadway. Barefoot has done a good job with the renovations, but what would it be like at night in early spring on the weekend?
Any other sugestions for a group of 10?
Besides replies to this topic, read all of this folder and all trip reports, to
get ideas in your area. We have had 2 years of few trips and not doing
much entertainment on those trips.
There are some sports bars on the north end, Boardwalk Billys,
LuLu's in Broadway, but I don't have experience with them.
There is Status Nightlife club, formerly 2001, if it's open.
And you have Thee Dollhouse.

Thanks!
Any recommendations on a good steak house? I have been to Greg Norman’s, anything on the north end?
Thoroughbreds worth it?
Thoroughbreds is good. I haven't been there in 4-5 years.
Their steak dinner was including a full dinner, not just the steak.
Ruth Criss + NY Prime are premium places and A La Carte.
Not as premium, but good and more reasonable:
Longhorn, Joe's Bar + Grill, Flamingo Grill, Boundary House, Clarkes.

Joe's Bar + Grill has very good steak at a reasonable price. In Barefoot, Crooked Hammock brewery opened up this year, went there a couple times in October and they have some good craft beers.
Both Longhorns or Joe's Bar and Grill have decent steaks for a good price, for a group would give Joe's the nod..
Thorougbreds is highly recommended for steak. I got the strip twice this past October.
Can't beat it.
Warning. Make sure you have large bills in your wallet or plenty of credit on your card.
