We'll be down for 2 weeks starting June 27 and our party of 11 will be skipping Captn Georges this year, we'll do our own seafood pig out. We are 3 families each with our own condo at Place at the Beach near the Apache Pier. Any recommendations as to a good store to buy fresh shrimp and crab legs nearby would be appreciated. Also, is Hummingbird now open?

Bill, your just down the road from Bimini's on Lake Arrowhead Drive, they have a Seafood Outlet to buy all you need for your pig out, also Mr. Fish they also have an Outlet on Hwy. 17 just past the restaurant of the same name. Another one a bit further from you is on Sea Mountain Hwy. between 17 and Ocean Blvd. called Platt's. Also if you happen to get down to Murrell's Inlet Seven Seas is also another spot.
