- I see there is a thread for this but since there have been no new posts (and I'm here now) thought I would pose question. Staying central, we have been driving about every day to Murrels inlet for dinner (so many great places, so little time) so a little drive does not bother us. Will be playing more north tues and wed (Grande Dunes, Tidewater) was looking at clearwater oyster bar and grill. Any suggestions for any place in the myrtle beach area appreciated.

Martini has a small bar area. That's why I ask.
Also central area , Chestnut Hill ( near Thoroughbreds) has a good happy hour but also a smaller bar area.
If you have a warm weather day and want to sit outside Boardwalk Billy's is pretty cool.
Near there is Mellow Mushroom which has a lot of different beers on tap

Grande Dunes has renovated the clubhouse and back patio, so it
might be good to stay there. Some MBGT members used to talk
about Ocean Annies.
Clearwater Oyster Bar also includes SOHO steak, which has a
outside deck on the waterway. I have seen it, but don't know if
it's good. That is where the old Dollhouse used to be.
The buildings are new.
Boardwalk Billy's is good after TW.
Report what is good.

We typically try to hit Patio's Tiki Bar and Captain Archies in the North Myrtle /Little River Area. Both have outdoor seating and entertainment most days. Both are better for beverages than food and are usually pretty lively. Archie's is more of a biker bar, but don't let it scare you off.
Local on the Water and Boardwalk Billy's are next to each other and are good choices as well.
Ocean Annies in Myrtle is the quintessential beach bar. Drinks only but it's right on the beach. If the weather's nice, it would be my first choice. A good mix of beach traffic and post round golfers. Music everyday I believe.
Martini's does have a small bar area, but the crowd there is usually pretty lively. They also have live music during happy hour. At Crab Catchers (Little River) you can actually sit right out on the Intercostal Waterway.

It is just me and wife. Like drinks and apps.....biker bars do not worry us....I grew up around the (old style) bikers my whole life....dont ride but fit in fine. Thanks for all replies
If just you and wife definitely check out Martini and Chestnut Hill for Happy Hour.
Both are my wife's favorite.
A lil more upscale but plenty of golfers go to both after golf.
Less upscale is Rockafellers if you like seafood ..looks dumpy from outside but casual dining with great food . Try the grouper ,shrimp and Oyster Rockafeller.
Biminis is in same group as Rockafellers.
All 4 establishments are staples for us each trip
Have a blast

We enjoy Patio's on the Water, close to where you get onto the Gambling Ships.
Is it in the same area near Crab Catchers ... off Mineola Ave ?

My wife and I rarely eat out, but tried Grumpy Monks in NMB one day - it was great
Golf is just an excuse to drink whiskey and smoke cigars
Co Sushi has an excellent Tuesday and Thursday Happy Hour. The former chef at Co Sushi opened Manta Sushi and copied the Happy Hour. Same deal, although the Manta Deal may be a locals only.
The Brass Tap has good HH and daily specials.
