We played here today and conditions were pretty good. The overseed on the fairways is excellent, plenty of grass under the ball. Greens were good but really slow especially after Crow Creek last week. Some nice views and interesting holes. #9 on the West course is a good par 5. We played West and East nines. Total of six par 5s and 5 par 3s quite a different combination, only seven par 4s.
My group is booked for 27 at The Pearl in early May and happy to see your report. Played quite a few years ago and it was a rainy day that we struggled to get through, so I'm looking forward to the return visit.
The closing of 9 holes created that unique mix of holes on West/East,
but I feel that is the best combo, which also includes all of the scenic
Marsh holes.
