Looking at booking the Sea Trail package the 2nd week in March.  Being told that we get a free PM round the day we arrive and free replays at all 3 courses.  Total would be about $350 for 7 rounds of golf and lodging included.  I am not expecting top notch courses, but just leery of the courses conditions at that price.  Wondering what courses they are comparable to.  I've played Eagle Nest, Diamondback, Farmstead, MBN (south and west), Glens group courses, Aberdeen, Crown Park, Indian Wells (RIP),  Myrtlewood courses, Pearl and Sandpiper.  Any help and suggestions is appreciated.

Sea Trail has three very good courses - the issue is conditioning which hasn't been great though it's been awhile since we've seen a report. I need to get out there with Lefty soon

Golf is just an excuse to drink whiskey and smoke cigars

We plan on playing one of the Sea Trail Courses next week, either Byrd or Jones.  Last year the 2 mentioned courses were better then decent I felt, it was the Maples Course that lets you down, a very good layout but very spotty conditions.

For what it's worth I played both Byrd and Jones over the summer and both were in pretty good shape. I thought the layouts of both were pretty good, much better than what I was expecting to be honest. Never have played Maples.

Enjoy your trip.

Check to see if the free replays are prebooked or space available.
With 3 courses there should be space, but it could depend on how nice the day is.
They also should be able to get you a replay rate at nearby courses, SPB, Pearl, if
no space or you rather play elsewhere.

We don't get many Sea Trail reports, so it's hard to keep up with conditions there,
but probably no better than average, based on history.
Of the courses you listed, ST is comparable to Eagle Nest, Diamondback,
Crown Park, Indian Wells.

Maples may be the more interesting design.   It has old bent greens, where if they
will be good, March is a good time for them, before summer heat gets to them.

Welcome to MBGT and wherever you play, report back.
