Played here today under very sunny skies, no wind whatsoever, and morning temps that were a touch cool, but by hole 4 it was very pleasant.
To me this is a fun course, not overly difficult with a good assortment of holes. Although a bit on the soft side it was 90* everywhere, only exception was the Par 6th hole. Tee areas had good coverage and fairly flat. Sand traps were being worked on and some could use some sand as they are getting thin in that department. Fairways are good, a touch thin in spots but nothing to bad to moan about. Greens are running smoothly and at a speed of 8 maybe 9. Our POP was 3 hours even but we wee first off the 10th tee and no slow down until hole 4 then it crawled. Would have to say play the course if you like good conditions, both west and north courses also looked very nice.
Thanks for the report. Been awhile since the last time at MBN, how is the practice area?
Sounds like Gary's group has all fast players.
Thanks for another report!

The practice area is fine, but it's not very big for 3 courses. You can drive your cart
to the range.
There are 2 putting greens.

Thanks Art, will be arriving in MB Friday night. Kings North Sunday, I was just trying to remember how the practice area was, in case Day 1 at Aberdeen does not go as planned! Always appreciate the incite.
Trip report to follow next week.

Have a great trip
Golf is just an excuse to drink whiskey and smoke cigars
Now that I've played all 3 courses , I have to say they do a great job with conditioning and it is now one of my favorite places to play.
Two great Mid-tiers and a very special top tier..
Thanks Gary for the update.

Thanks for the update! Always fun to receive your "snowbird" reports. Just a question. Do you prefer to play Southcreek or the West course?
''It's just golf, let's have fun''
Personally I prefer the West course over the south, that said would not hesitate to return to the south, conditions can only get better once the course firms up a bit. That goes for many MN courses right now, wetness from the over seed is making for tougher conditions.
I prefer also the West over the South. It is an easier golf course. I like to play the course when i arrive in Myrtle Beach. Over the weeks, i will selected more difficult golf courses. It is better for my handicap ????

I like the West because there are no homes along the fairways.
But you can't go wrong on Southcreek either.
I'm giving the edge to the West.

The West is nice without housing.
