Anyone have thoughts or experiences at Man O War?  I've never played it and my intention is to check this one off the list within the next month.  I noticed it's $75 on the MB Passport which puts it in the upper tier price-wise.  Is it worth it?  What's the vibe here?

MOW is a player friendly mid tier that is usually in decent shape.  I believe they have wall to wall overseed.  No way I would pay an upper tier price.

@dch1950 : do totally agree with @pfl assessment. MOW is a nice third tier course, but at 75 $ on your MB Passport, it's a bit too expensive for its true value!

Maybe the higher Passport rate is being proud of the wall to wall overseed?
It's also the time of year when rates start going up.

As you may have heard and seen on their website, MOW has a lot of water,
but it's usually to one side with bail out room to the other side.
It also has bent greens, which are usually good.

Haven't played it yet.  Hope to check it off the list this year as I usually enjoy Dan Maples courses.  As Art said, they may be charging more for confidence in their conditions.

I like the Dan Maples courses also. Always fun to play one of them in Myrtle Beach. Have you played the Maples course at Sea Trail?

MOW is always in decent shape, wall to wall over seed and greens that are generally quick.  Not a lot of wow factor unfortunately and for 75 bucks I feel it is over priced, again IMO.  We have stayed away from both Wizard and MOW due to their prices.

Several times.  It's my favorite Sea Trail course by design.  Haven't played it in a few years because of condition concerns.

Way too many good courses to play that are priced below MOW. I thought it was a nice course with good conditions when we played it several years ago  but not worth the price they are asking now.

Played it several times was always in good shape. I would play if nothing else to mark it off of your list.

Art, both Man of War and Wizard have been high for their prices all year lowest we have seen it for on Passport is $59.00 and now $75, to much even for the wall to wall over seed IMO.
