Staying at True Blue and playing there, Litchfield & Pine Lakes. Looking for opinions/conditions for The Founders club for a practice round.
I played there 10 years ago but since we didn't get home until 6:15 and had an 8:30 tee time I really don't remember the course too well:)
Founders Club Pawleys is challenging with some unique holes.
It does not have a range.
Some don't like founders because of waste areas, road crossings and
it's too challenging for them.
I don't know the conditions, haven't heard anything bad.
Report after your trip.

I play there regularly. Conditions are better than many others for this time of year. Greens are more than acceptable. I have always enjoyed the layout. Yes, there are a lot of waste areas and I think one of the bag guys said "...and be careful because you're gonna cross a road 14 times; I've never found it to be a problem.
Founders does have nets to hit into and a huge putting green. also i remember if you are a early arrival person, the pro shop guys are not early arrivers. one of the workers got me some balls to hit into the nets so i could warm up. then i putted till they arrived, lucky i was first out and everyone there was great to deal with, no bad apples.
Let the Big Dawg Bark!!!
There are some very nice holes on the Founders Club at Pawley's. for us it is always worth a drive down to play it.
Played Founders Club only once, three or four years ago (during a total eclipse of the sun) and love both experiences (the course itself... and the eclipse)!
So, personnally, I would be glad to get back there once again!
