Played here this morning under the threat of thunderstorms all day, we got lucky and had great conditions and no rain at all. POP was 4 hours even and only 2 holes CPO. We ended up playing the Combination tees, ( mix of white and gold ) on the card just under 6,000 yards, very playable from them.
The course is in great condition, green as could be on the fairways and your ball sat up near perfectly, tee areas were lovely, flat with no up or down lies on them. Bunkers have what looks like a granular sand in them, easy to hit out of and all of them were raked to perfection. Greens rolled very smoothly, would give them a 9.5 maybe a bit quicker in spots. About the greens, you can have yourself some very difficult putts if you land on the wrong area, undulations are tough, reading them even tougher, back 9's greens are more severe then front 9's, that said only had 1 three putt.
Crow Creeks practice area is good as well and for 5 bucks you get 60 or so balls, putting green is also a nice one. If your group is thinking of playing here, go for it you will not be disappointed.
Sounds great glad to hear.

Great to hear CC is in good shape. You're right about the greens. Some pretty gnarly putts if you are in the wrong spot.
Unless someone plays CC regularly, instead of once a year, it will not be
possible to remember the various tiers/sections on the greens, so try to
stay below the hole.
When looking at online tee times, to see the days a possible spring course is
busy or not, I see Crow Creek busier than courses like KN, The Dunes, Cal, TB.
I even found Tigers Eye busy, despite the bad condition reports it gets.

Golf is just an excuse to drink whiskey and smoke cigars
Art, you can actually see the undulations from the fairways, all you need to do is hit to the right area lol. My 3 putt was on number 11, had a 60 yard wedge to the hole and hit it fat to the front edge, pin was back left so had 3 levels to go up to the hole.

Hopefully more than one. We may have a friend from our home course in town for 2-3 days. Will email what days we have open as soon as I know.
