I know it is way up north but has anyone played Carolina National recently or in the fall?
If you haven't played it, CN is a very good design and 27 holes.
I haven't played CN in awhile and not enough recent reports to
have a feel for the conditions, which have been inconsistent
over the years.

I was wondering the same thing. Seems like a hidden gem, and underpriced? Seems like a wonderful course to me, but never been there.
It has been over 15 years since I last played it. Scheduled to play there on Friday, March 22. Will post an update afterwards!
I've played CN at least a half dozen times. As others have said conditions vary from good to below par. If you are traveling from central MB it is a pretty good hike. Layout is good. Let us know how you liked it.
Played it in late December. good overseed and overall good shape and 1 of the nines closed for a couple of months for upgrades and maintenance
Haven't played it in a few years. The last time I did, it was in nice shape. Lots of fun and some very interesting holes. I'm on their email list and they seem to have a good bit of things going on at the course, so that's usually a good sign.
A few years back I posted here about how bad the cart paths were at CN.
I'm hoping they replaced them .
Anyone know ?
Thanks, JW
