Burning is what their tees are like - fairways pretty brown too. However there is grass - if they start watering soon they'll be OK. Greens rolled pretty good, not spectacular. BR is not one of my favorite courses in MB, but it is very acceptable to play.

Burning Ridge is a course where it is fun to play. I like the layout. I play there every year.

Art - I don't know about conserving water - they've got several lakes - and are probably pumping from the groundwater. I think (but not sure) everyone used the past three weeks to rid themselves of the rye. There is grass there - just some brown. This next week will tell the tale - it's going to take a lot of watering - but nothing beats a couple of good rains - maybe some in a week according to the forecasts.
