Was pleasantly surprised by the conditions. Tees brown, but fairways starting to green up and could have played the ball down. Greens rolled well but kinda of slow. Nice people - a 36 hole day at Farmstead and Meadowlands is a very good day of golf.
Golf is just an excuse to drink whiskey and smoke cigars
We've tried to play Meadowlands 3 or 4 times...usually as a replay after Farmstead. Never got past the 9th hole. Couple times due to the greens rolling about 2.4 on the stimp (in April!) And once or twice due to taking around 3 hrs or more to play nine holes. One of this slow rounds we quit and drove back to the clubhouse when it took 2-1/2 hours to play 5 holes.
I love Farmstead, but we seem to be jinxed at Meadowlands.
Golf can best be defined as an endless series of tragedies obscured by the occasional miracle.
Thanks for the report. Agree about the replay to make 36 holes
Meadowlands is very popular amongst the seniors and women. Thanks for this update.

Thanks for the update.
Let the Big Dawg Bark!!!
Meadowlands is one of those not a big wow factor, but it has many nice holes and a 36 hole day with Farmstead tossed in is a good day indeed.
I do like both course thanks for sharing.

Thanks UGP for the report!
Played Meadowlands only once (last summer by the way) and was pleasantly surprised!
And like you said, staff out there is great!
