Played the Piper to Bay 9's.
Tees - Good
Fairways - Good to very good.
Rough - Good. Some areas have some tree root issues. Reasonable height.
Bunkers - Could use more sand. More of a dirt than sand. Not bad to hit out of and most of them were raked. We did have some rain over the past few days which may be a contributor.
Greens - Great coverage but a little high. Rolled well. Probably didn't cut due to the recent rain. Running around 8 to 8.5 on the Stimp.
Cart Paths - Exciting! Some real tree root problems here!
This was probably the greenest I've seen Sandpiper Bay in a number of years. Visually, especially from the tree, it looks fantastic. The bunkers may bother some, the cart paths do need some patching/replacing, but if you're OK with that, Sandpiper's in really good condition right now.
I like SB but there are a lot of exposed tree roots on the course. Not sure what they could do about it.
Thanks again @polekat914 for reporting!
IMHO, SB represents a great value and I wouldn't hesitate to be back there!

As long as i remember, the greens has always been slow at SB. Carth paths has a lot of bumps since many years. But i return to play SB almost each year. This course is very special. Thanks for your report.
