Heading to MB the last couple of weeks in November. Here are the courses I am playing. The courses marked with an asterisk(*) are new courses for me.
Colonial Charters*
Willbrook Plantation*
International Club
Pawleys Plantation
Azalia Sands*
Crown Park*
Heritage
Arrowhead
Thistle
Tidewater
River Hills*
What do you think?
Thanks
It is a good mix of golf courses. Somes are well valued and interesting to play (Tidewater, Arrowhead, Heritage), others less (Azalia Sands, Colonial Charters). You will be able to compare by yourself. Good golf! Have fun.

The bottom six are the best courses on the list. I'm really interested about the weather that time of year. Please post a trip report. Hope you have a great time.
Checking off Col Charters on your first day, is a good idea to
consider it a practice round. If that is your reason, then
Azalea Sands, Int Club + Crown Park should be moved
before Willbrook. Then you are warmed up for your top
courses.
As usual, tee times, rates, etc affect sequence.

I would enjoy the lineup, better then being at home.
Let the Big Dawg Bark!!!
@kano-mike : you'll be in for quite a nice trip!
That said, I do second 100 % @artmbgolf regarding your actual schedule and, if possible, making the changes accordingly to Art's recommendations!
Have a wonderful trip!

What I am trying to do is to check off all of the golf courses that are in the World Am. That way I do not need to come to MB so early to preplay the courses I am going to be playing on. I have 5 left
Nice mix of courses golf in November at any course is better than not playing.
Brownwood Bandit
Decent mix of very good to so so courses, you will enjoy regardless, hey it's MB.
@tadpole I have been heading to MB in November for many years, ( 20 0f last 22 ) one thing to say about the weather, never the same year to year. Bring clothes to layer as some days are cool, even frost, bring shorts for the days it gets over 60, my best guess is you will be in shorts often.
Nice lineup, some are of lesser stature but the schedule looks fun. The weather has been quite dry this fall so I hope it continues for your sake. Any courses that overseed should be grown-in so conditions should be good. I’ve played Tidewater, Brunswick Plantation, Sandpiper Bay, Tigers Eye, Meadowlands, & The Pearl since arriving 3 weeks ago; all were in condition. They are ready for you.

Wife and I arrived on 11/21. Flew MSP-CLT-MYR on American Airlines. Little bumpy, but everything on schedule. Staying in a VRBO in Kingston Plantation, which is very close to Arcadian Shores golf course. I am 63 years old and play off a 18 HC.
Day 1 November 22, 2023
Course: Colonial Charters
First Time Playing Course: Yes
Course Conditions: Very wet. I was the only one on the course when I teed off at 12:30. Rained for the first 9 holes.
Greens: Wet and very small greens
Tees: White, 125 slope
Toughest Hole for me: #15
Scoring: Played ok.
POP: 2.75 hours
Breakfast: Theo's
Dinner: Greg Normans. Love their prime rib. Also on Wednesday, it is half off bottles of wine.
Overall Rating: 7.5/10.
Miscellaneous Comments. Pretty easy course. Winds around a lot of housing, so if that bothers you, it may not be for you. Greens small, not many bunkers. Decent amount of water.
Tomorrow: Willbrook Plantation
Day 2 November 23, 2023
Course: Willbrook Plantation
First Time Playing Course: Yes
Course Conditions: A little wet, but still CPO.
Greens: Greens were in good shape. Decently quick
Tees: Gold, 124 slope
Toughest Hole for me: #5
Scoring: Played so-so
POP: 4 hours
Breakfast: Circle K
Dinner: Lombardos. Our favorite Italian resto.
Overall Rating: 8/10.
Miscellaneous Comments. Course was in good conditions, everything was pretty green. Still some water in the bunkers. The tee sheet was pretty empty, so they sent me out on my own. Hole 5, caught up to the 3 ball ahead of me. The groups behind me must have only played 9 holes as nobody was behind me after the turn
Tomorrow: International Club
Two good reports so far @kano-mike!
Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work!

You are off to a good start.
Not a lot of the locals play if the weather is poor or it's CPO.
Playing alone behind others isn't too bad if there is nobody
behind us and we can putt, hit extra shots, etc.
Thanks!
