It was wet, very wet. lol We were able to get in all of our rounds in between rain drops. Very disappointed in our packager. Prior to booking we asked about scheduled maintenance and were assured we were okay. Caledonia had just been slit seeded and sanded making for a very slow and bumpy roll. Other than that, Caledonia is just great. Barefoot Norman had been recently punched with small tines but still made for a poor putting surface. Prestwick is a fun and tough track, in good condition, the greens were slow but I think that might have been the 500" of rain last weekend. Heathland worked out well for us as a warm up course, good condition and a fun layout.
With the amount of heavy rain we got, amazing you were able to play. It just goes to show that you should never give up on playing MB courses regardless of the weather and forecast
Golf is just an excuse to drink whiskey and smoke cigars
Sorry about your packager and the Rain.
Let the Big Dawg Bark!!!
Tough luck on the rain in MB, a round or two is better then nothing.
It's possible that heat or rain changed maint dates, especially if booked well in advance.
It's frustrating when we research and still have a problem.

Thanks for the report!
Just hope there were more positive things than negative because of poor service and inclement weather.

Didn't mean to sound quite so negative. We had a great time and while we played a lot of golf in the rain it was still fun. I was glad I changed out my grips last week. It took us about 6 hours to get our round finished on Norman due to lightning and heavy downpour breaks. We had a blast hanging out at the shelter drinking beer playing cards. We had the course to ourselves and ended up playing the back 9 as a 7-some, didn't even see another player. We did argue about us either being the only people smart enough to be on the course or if we were the only people stupid enough to be out there. It is amazing how much water those tracks took and were still playable.
Good to hear you had a great time despite the rain and the condo problems.

Having the course to yourself is a rare treat and tons of fun. We've had two such occasions, Bald Head Island and Arcadian Shores. Both were a blast!
Thanks for the report and nice line up.
