Driving down from Charlotte next month with three buddies for a golf trip. First time doing MB properly, not just a quick round.
Anyone driven with clubs before? Anything we should know about getting around between courses or where to stay to make it easier?
Call Brian or send him an email. I have used him for many years.
Driving with clubs is easy, unless you want to fit 4 golfers with clubs and luggage
in one vehicle.
The previous post about Brian, who can book your lodging + courses.
He will know who is aerating and when.
If you haven't played many MB courses, you can play courses not too far
from lodging.
For course help, you should post your criteria, Premium, Mid, Budget.
Golf rates are lower in the summer so it's a good time to play the
better courses. Just make sure to check on green aeration dates with
packager or with the course if booking direct.
Hotels are higher in the summer.
If you have courses in mind, mention them to see what others say.
Same with hotels. Strategy is not to stay on one end of MB and play
courses on the other end.

Traveling is simple as long as you have ample room. I take my daughters and my clubs every year, we are careful to pack them safely and off we go. Now we travel further than you do and they always arrive perfectly.
Brian is the way to book golf and lodging.
Let the Big Dawg Bark!!!
Hope you had a good time. Any post about your time in Myrtle Beach might give us a fresh point of view about lodging, restaurants, and golf courses.
