What brand/model of range finder are you using?  What are the pros/cons of your rangefinder?  Looking a purchasing and with so many to choose from, looking for info from users on this forum.  Thanks.

Bushnell V3.  Pretty basic.  It give the distance to the pin but does not adjust for slope or weather conditions.  I don't need anything more complicated.

I use this one in red/white/blue. The colors make it less likely to leave on a cart. Love the built in magnet too.

I started using a basic Callaway more than 10 yrs ago, it was good for me, 2 yrs ago it started not picking up the flag unless the battery was fresh. My kids gave me gift cards for Golf Town for Fathers day that yr, so I picked up a Golf Buddy 1S model that was on sale,  its been really good, the magnifier is better than the Callaway was, it has the slope feature available if you turn it on.

This is the one.  It will actually factor in temperature and sea level for yardages.

I have a GoGoGo pro s24 that i use, it is very reliable and inexpensive. This is my backup if my watch runs out of battery.

Callaway 300 Pro, easy to use, has slope which I rarely read, and built in magnet

I went fairly cheap and reason was I own a Skycaddie and have for years.  That gives me yardage front, middle, center of green and a picture of the hole, green.  That said, I purchased a  TecTecTec VPRO500 Golf Rangefinder.  Great for shooting flags if you want exact distance or distance to a tree or something Skycaddie does not show.  I have been happy with the pair.  They both do an excellent job for me.

I use a garmin s-10 approach gps watch. Gives me everything I need, including yardage to reach or carry hazards or bunkers.

When we reach his ball, my cart buddy starts trying to shoot the pin with his range finder while I glance at my watch & check the flag color/location ^ give him the yardage, front, flag & back

About20 seconds later, he give me the yardage to the flag & my guess is usually within 2 yards or less.

Golf can best be defined as an endless series of tragedies obscured by the occasional miracle.

@skippy

I'm a GPS person as well and use a Garmin Approach G30.  It's nice when you don't know the course and can see the hole layout, click on a hazard or target and receive a yardage, etc.  I've never had a problem with accuracy of the device.
