What a way to finish up the month of May. Rivers Edge was in great shape, we played the ball down, fairways were good with brown areas that presented no problems. Greens were excellent though a touch slow. Tees were burnt up. Great people inside and out and the cart girl did a great job getting around several times in the heat. Those of you on the site know this in one of my top 5 courses.

Watering alert in MB! The courses that don't have wells are in trouble as their watering ponds are getting very low. Many courses are going to emergency watering of the greens only, if not now, then very soon as rain is still a long ways away. Expect hard fast brownish fairways until rain hits

Agree with your report, we played 36 there yesterday. Rivers edge was in the best shape that I can remember and we usually play there every year. There are many brown areas but they don’t impact play, the greens look great. Rivers edge continues to have the most friendly staff in myrtle beach both inside and the cart guys.

Sounds like the winter rains went away already.
