Long Bay - a little wet after a rain, but good condition, first time I can remember that they didn't overseed the greens which were fast. Surprisingly it wasn't cpo. Good course, tough 3 finishing holes, can play very difficult depending on pin locations.
TPC - this course does not drain well - very good condition, overseeded greens that were very fast. Several very long par 4's even from the senior tees. Really like # 17 par 3 Don't like #9 par 4. Way too long for seniors, basically unreachable in two.
Man o War - don't play, greens are terrible. Rest of the course is fine, wall to wall overseed.
Golf is just an excuse to drink whiskey and smoke cigars
TPC #9 looks and plays like a par 5.
Any idea what happened to MOW greens? Were they aerated?
Now is the time the bent greens are usually getting good.
Thanks!

UGP you are spot on with TPC that course doesnt drain well, played there this summer and ball literally went into the ground and disappeared. It was a long trudge that day. Thanks for updates for the other courses.
Let the Big Dawg Bark!!!
The one time I've played TPC it was a slog because the course was soaked. I want to return and play it eventually, but I'm only going to do it if it hasn't rained in at least 4-5 days.
They desperately need to work on the drainage, especially considering what they charge. Caledonia can get a torrential downpour for 2 hours and be mostly dry a couple of hours later.
Thanks for your report, hard to believe Man of War has bad greens at this time of year, always very nice in past years.
Thanks for the update UGP.
Us northerners love to hear anything about any golf course in the Carolina's.
I know some ppl don't like Long Bay, but I'm a big Long Bay fan.
Probably cuz I hit it straight and short
Hit em straight buddy
