Played it on St. Patrick’s Day. The course is in very good condition. Wall to wall overseed and quick greens. They have a very nice clubhouse. Watched a few guys in kilts finish their round. My opinion of PL is it is a well conditioned course and an OK layout.

It used to be a better golf course than it is now. The new holes they built as replacements are jarringly different from the original course -- they aren't bad holes in a vacuum, but they really don't fit in with the rest of the course -- and the recent bunker renovation removed a lot of the character.
I don't mind the "new" holes but you can tell they aren't original. I am not a fan of the new bunkers either.
@polekat914 That's my only issue with the "new" holes. I don't think they're bad golf holes, but it really feels like you've wandered onto another golf course because they're just a different style.
They're very modern whereas the other holes are classic.
Thanks for your take on Pine Lakes, the new holes as many are saying do not fit the original course design. First played it back in 1969 when MB only had 18 courses to choose from, it was the best course we played then.
