Myrtlewood has done a great job with both courses - hadn't played PH in at least 6 months. All conditions were good but soft, especially around the greens where they watered the greens heavily. The roughs were very difficult and thick. In fact roughs on all the courses I have been playing are thick - going to be difficult for the World Am coming up. Buddy played Surf and said the rough was brutal - hard to find balls. The greens were good but a little slow - a good solid tier 3, not my favorite course but good to play. # 18 is tough if you aren't a long hitter. I hit a 6, Quevy hit a wedge. PH is worth playing, though I prefer Palmetto. Not a lot of pics as I forgot early, then was embroiled in a big match!
Golf is just an excuse to drink whiskey and smoke cigars
My Zoysia is thicker and faster growing than ever, thanks to plenty of rain
and constantly humid weather. Sounds like you have similar weather this
summer, reading a bunch of reports talking about rain.
Thanks!

Thanks for sharing UGP. The rough could be brutal for your score. Better be in the light rough UGP!
