Today it is the opening of the PGA 2021 Merchandise Show. I am planning to get a look on Golf Channel. Have you the intention to look? For many golfers, it is the opening also of the new season. I will check, for the new ballsTitleist Pro V1 and Pro V1X. And for the new Srixon ZX line for woods and irons. It is possible to get a look also virtually on the website of the PGA 2021 Merchandise Show. What are you looking in terms of equipement for the new season of golf?

My friend who is a retired HS & college golf coach went to the show every year. He brought back a bag of "goodies" for his golf buddies and would update us all on the new equipment. Don't think he is going virtual this year.
I am real interested in Cobra's new driver. Might have to treat myself later this spring.
The various new gadgets at the show are interesting to see, since we may
not see them in our stores.
I didn't use up enough golf equipment in 2020 to need new stuff.
I will be looking at FJ Tour X golf shoes.

I signed up for the virtual show this year - though not sure why. I miss going to the show in Orlando and seeing all the new stuff - especially by companies no one had ever heard about at the time. Most interesting was the the teaching aids - they got pretty wild.

I went to one about ten years ago. It's really impossible to describe how big the show is. At one end of the convention hall, they had a full driving range set up, and yet you didn't have to walk very far to lose sight of it. If you were just interested in collecting swag, you'd have to bring several shopping carts to hold all the free stuff you could get.
And I remember when I was leaving, I was crossing above the floor to go to one of the parking garages and recalled that final scene in the warehouse in Raiders of the Lost Ark as the two workers hauled the crate holding the Ark into that vast warehouse. The Orange County Convention Center is that large and probably only one of a small number of places in the country that could accommodate the PGA.
One year I paced off how big the show was. The answer ... equivalent of eight football fields !!
In terms of equipment, I'm real happy with my Maverick driver & fairway woods. I've tried to play Callaway woods in the past 10-15 years but always found their clubs too "hooky", but I'm hitting the Mavs as well as anything I've ever hit in the past. Irons ... nothing can knock my 20 year old MacGregor PCB Tour irons out of the bag, LOL, though looks to be some competition this year with the new offerings from Srixon, Cobra, and Callaway.
Can you hit these Fowler blades? They also cost double the other top OEMs.

Macgregor PCB Tour irons- is it the same model that have been used bu Jose Maria Olezabal when he won the Masters? If right, i readed that they were forged by Miura. An i out of bound on this one Bob?

Sounds about right. For those who have never been to the Orange County Convention Center, from the outside it looks like a huge airport terminal.
