That is good.  Some of the greens have a lot of fairway bermuda invading.
The Green on the par 5 #4 is mostly fairway bermuda.

Surf Club will also be closing from Memorial Day to Labor Day in 2027 for renovation of greens and bunkers.

Did something happen to Surf Club's greens or wear out from age?
Do you know the new grass?

@artmbgolf  I think they will be Tif3d but not 100% sure.

@artmbgolf

Actually now I'm hearing Tif-Eagle will be the replacement grass. The current greens have patches of other grasses growing into the greens. Not sure if this is encroachment of grasses from the aprons or if the existing grass self-mutated into another strain. From everything I read, Tif3D and Mach 1 are the newest go-to grasses being more dense, less prone to thatch, more cold & drought tolerant and finer bladed than Tif-Eagle which can get grainy. Tif3D and Mach 1 also recover faster from aeration than Tif-Eagle, Champions and Mini-Verde. So I'm not sure why the Surf wouldn't want to go with the latest & greatest like Wild Wing which resurfaced with Tif3D.

This is the first I heard about the Tif3D name.   I did not read that in the
Wild Wing report, where I didn't see a green type to be used.
Founders has been using Tifeagle on recent green renovations.

I have been waiting to heard about if and when Rivers Edge gets new greens.
Theirs are full of fairway bermuda spots, which is why they keep them slow.
