Greens are recovering very well from aerofying. Fairways were good, not perfect. Roughs very playable. Played it as it lies today with Quevy.  South not in as good condition, so stick to North right now. Not sure how West is looking.

Hoping the courses have water now to water the fairways in good bermuda
growth weather.

Thanks!

Many will like to read that UGP, how did you do on hole 6, short way to get home in 2 or the safe way?  The Gambler is always worth a shot to make a birdie I feel.

I would prefer NOT to discuss the gambler from yesterday!!!!

I almost always go for the island even if I know I can't reach the green in two (wind and or back tees) because it's easier for me to hit the island fairway then the "safe" way to the right. Let's just say that I hit a very poor tee shot and the ball didn't end up on the island. It was a bad day all around as Quevy's team destroyed mine!

Lefty I've made a 3 on the gambler - and I've made a 10! What a golf hole. If I played it in a tournament I would probably go to the right, though it's not an easy third shot from the right - it can make your heart beat fast!

Forgot to add - that going for it in two from the island is not an easy shot either. Easy to dump it in the water (several times - that's how you make a 10!)

Watched a diver recover an ungodly amount of balls from the water in front of the green, what was surprising was how many balls he got out of the water to the left of the green!

When laying up on the right side faiway, On The Gambler, it's good to be far down the
fairway, close to the bunkerss, to avoid a shot over the water.   Although the green slopes
away, so it's still a tricky shot, especially if the pin is near the front on the hill.

Layups in the 100-125 yard area have to hit over the water.   Golfers want to hit enough
club, but we are hitting downhill with a downhill lie, so we may hit it too far.  That is how
a lot of balls are also left of the green.

I've also seen balls hit into the water on the left when going for the green in two from the island. It's a live or die kind of golf hole!
