Came down to MB on Thursday with my buddy Pete, made it to CP on Fri to play after driving 18 hrs from Canada & getting  5 hrs of sleep

Conditions were better than I expected,  the practice green was kinda slow, but the course greens actually ran at a nice speed and rolled pretty smooth. fairways were still in over seed and lies were sketchy in spots, had to move the ball on occasion & clean off mud. All in all, once overseed takes, should be a decent low cost warm up round.

I'm here for a week & will give course updates as I play them,  posted an update on Leopards Chase on the Big Cats thread as I played there today.

Crow Creek tomorrow

Thanks for your report on Crown Park, IMO back nine is nicer then the front, a good budget course that we will get to this winter.  Any construction surprises on the roads on your way down.

Several good holes throughout this budget layout. Never have a problem playing it. Not expecting pristine conditions based on the low price they offer.

Golf is just an excuse to drink whiskey and smoke cigars
