Hello all,

Any thoughts on these courses for our package. Late September trip, Staying in North Myrtle this year. We’ve stayed in Surfside the previous 10 years.

Day 1: Carolina National. 27 holes. We’ve never played this  course.

Day 2: Rivers Edge. Played RE in 2012.

Day 3: Oyster Bay. Played OB in 2012.

Day 4: Leapords Chase. Never played.

Day 5: Crow Creek, Meadowlands, Pearl.
We’ve never played any of these.

Thanks for the course info!

Carolina has been hot and cold with conditions over the years and
we seldom get reports on it.   It's a good layout and a longer drive.

Since you have not played Crow Creek, it's a shorter drive and a
good first day course, with wide fairways. It does have some
undulating bent greens.   I suggest it on your first day.

RE has improved a lot since 2012.
OB has improved since 2012.

LC has been getting good reports.  It has some interesting holes.
Only has a trailer clubhouse.   Has new greens now.

The Pearl is the best choice on the day 5 list.
Request West/East for the most scenic marsh holes.
There are 27 holes.

I would agree with Art on Carolina National, not many good reports and the day we drove to take a look it was basically empty, Crow Creek will not knock your socks off but it is generally in very nice condition.
