Joined JB for a great round at Arrowhead. Course in excellent shape. Waterway greens very good - not too fast and not too slow, Cypress still healing from aerofying. Roughs a little tough, fairways can play the ball down. Such a good layout, Cypress is a tough nine. JB can golf his ball and was a joy to play with. He saw 3 versions of me. UGH (hack) UGS (shanks) and UGP as somehow I was able to shoot 73 amongst many a bad shot. Introduced JB to a couple of friends that I have invited to join MBGT. The other short guy next to me is known as the Commish down here. He turned 70 yesterday and shot his age today (70) and he and his partner beat us out of 6 bucks.
I have never played Arrowhead when it wasn't in really good condition - and it is such a great layout.

I wish it were true Art - though I hit one of the greatest shanks in the history of golf. From 100 out - I shanked it dead right over the water on #8 Cypress and onto the grass across but before the lawns of the houses still in bounds leaving me with 68 yards. It was a sight to see! Hit many other very bad shots - but pitched, chipped, and putted lights out!

UGP is a person you want to play golf with, he is a awesome person first and foremost. Don't let him fool you, he hit a couple way word shots but was still money.
The one he did hit, took us both by surprise. Of course he composed himself and put it on the green. I will provide my comments in my post.
