Played at White Clay Creek CC over the weekend.  Hadn't played the course in almost 10 years and only played 13 that day.

Course is public.  Range included with rate.  Practice are was good, range, chipping area and putting green.  Putting green seemed to be of a similar speed to actual greens.  Carts have GPS and paths were in good shape and pretty well marked.  Paid $50 for 3pm tee time.   The staff was helpful from inside the clubhouse, to starter, range area and cart girl.  We did not order food, but drinks were good.

The course itself is a little bit of target golf.  I think it gave me problems before, but played decently well this time.  Tee boxes were nice and mostly flat.  The fairways were mostly in good shape as well.  It was aerified a couple weeks ago and came back quite nicely.  The creek comes into play on almost every hole, which makes the layout interesting.  It sometimes crosses a hole twice which caused the forced carries.  Only lost one ball, which was on the shortest hole on the course.  The other 3 par 3's are in the longer range.  Played the whites.  6000 yards.  Shot 89, which was fine for my 15 handicap.

Course is a solid hour from the house, so won't be a regular, but it won't be 10 years before I play again.

I usually play WCC once/twice a year.    It is a premium course, with plenty of challenge.
It's interesting hearing races being called, when DE Park is in season.

The par 5 #15 was designed to tee off over the water from white or longer tees.
They usually put the white tee on the SR tee, to help avoid the water.

It would have been nice if they designed #18 green to viewable from the clubhouse.

Thanks!
