Let the Big Dawg Bark!!!
Here is my subjective take on the courses we played. We only played 5 of the seven courses since Ian made us get rainchecks for Heritage and Shaftesbury.
Generally, all the courses played were in good to great shape. Shorts Weather every day. A windshirt was needed at KN.
My Greens ranking: Kings North, Meadowlands, Blackmoor, Oyster Bay and Crow Creek. All of them were fast and true. CC had some minor spots that were thin but nothing to scare you away from the course. Oyster Bay had the most diabolical pin placements. Being above the hole at all 5 courses treacherous fast downhill putts were the norm.
Fairways ranking: Kings North, Meadowlands, Crow Creek, Oyster Bay and Blackmoor. KN fairways were super fast and the run out was excellent. We rode the fairways all week.
Rough ranking: Kings North, Blackmoor, Oyster Bay, Crow Creek and Meadowlands. Meadowlands was by far the most penal.
Tee boxes ranking: Kings North, Meadowlands, Blackmoor, Crow Creek and Oyster Bay. The majority of the tee areas were fine, but each course had at least one area which was mostly sand covered with sparse grass.
Bunkers ranking: Crow Creek, Kings North, Blackmoor, Meadowlands and Oyster Bay. Crow Creek gets this approval, because I almost holed out from Left fairway bunker on Number 5.
Course Staff (Proshop, Bag Drop, Beverage): Kings North, Oyster Bay, Blackmoor, Crow Creek and Meadowlands. KN wins this category by a wide margin. OB gave a sandwich and two drink ticket which pushed them ahead of the rest but KN.
On the drive down, played River Course at River Landing. It was by far the best course played. The course staff treated us like members. Free range balls and super practice facility. Greens, fairways were excellent. The overall aesthetics were stunning. If this course was in the Myrtle Beach Metro area it would be one of the best.
The Restaurants Benny Rappas, Carolina Roadhouse, Grumpy Monks, Oscar's, Patio's and Fishtails. All were fine.
Overall, another great trip notwithstanding the two cancellations. Would recommend all the courses to put on your agenda.

Thanks for the report. Lots of ratings which is always appreciated. Nice to see Benny Rappas mentioned, haven't been there in 10-15 years.
@jay Wonderful trip report!
Just too bad Hurricane Ian did change your golf agenda!
That said, I do agree with you about River Landing. Played there several years ago and did really like my golf experience over there!
