@ArtMBGolf Someone had planned to open a simulator like you describe in the town that I use to live in but the plans fell through. Same setup, was to have tournaments on famous courses etc. I always wondered though how the putting worked in those tournaments.

Older simulators would tell you to putt from a certain spot to a hole near the screen.
Two putts were almost a guarantee and putts were flat.
I have seen simulators where you putt to a hole on the screen and it has arrows
showing a break. That looked like it would be harder and take some practice to learn.
I have not played current models, so I don't know how they do it now.

I'm beginning to sense that they will not be open at the end of the month. We might miss it, dang!
Had a little time to kill between home showings this morning so rode by. Looks like it is getting pretty darn close to being ready. Even had the flags up in the target areas so I would say in the next 4 to 5 weeks it should be good to go for a soft opening at least. No official info but just my guess from the looks of things.
One of my crew called today and was told the official opening is the first week of March.
Thanks for the update. Nice to know.
