Hi,
A group of 8 of us are coming down to play golf Sept 9-14. We're staying in the Cherry Grove area, which I'm not familiar with. Looking for some restaurant recommendations. In the past we've eaten at some of the Calabash/Little River spots like Chianti South, Clark's, Boundary House, Grapevine's. Looking for some options a little closer to where we're staying, especially the day we get there, since most of us have long drives to get there (NJ, FL).

Thanks for any "local knowledge".

  Pete

My group always enjoyed the pizza shop across from the grocery store.

The Shack on Sea Mountain Highway is a great spot for breakfast, portions are large enough to keep the big eaters happy.  Pizzali's for Italian on Hwy 17 in Little River also not to bad.  Chianti South has closed down.  Good luck.

Here is a second for Pizelli's in Little River.  Local place with very good and reasonably priced food.  Also, Clark's on Hwy 17 just before you get into LR is very good.

I second Clark’s.  We also love The Parsons Table in LR.

A little South on 17 from Rt 9 is Boardwalk Billy's, Rioz Brazilian buffet,
Outback and a lot more.

If you play PM at ST Byrd, they have a fancy new restaurant.   I have not tried it.

I eat at Clark's + Boundary House every time I play a PM round in that area.
