Tee Time: 12:20

Rate: GolfNow HD $78

Tees: Firm for putting tees in but turf was good and tees were flat

Fairways: Course wall to wall overseed Fairways in good shape

Bunkers: Perfectly fine

Greens: Smooth and receptive but slow compared to what they “looked like”

Gators: ZERO

POP: 4 hours and 20 minutes

Cart Paths: Great

This Arnold Palmer course is always one of my favorites. Hole 8 and 9 are worth the price of admission and the finishing three holes might be the best finishing stretch in MB.

I saw a recent photo of RE, showing the green very green, so I
figure they are overseeded. By afternoon, they slow down,
compared to all bermuda in a few weeks.
Plus RE is known for slow greens.
I am hoping RE gets new greens in 2027, after ST Jones.
No there has not been any announcement.

I have seen gators behind #11 green or across the lake where
there are houses.

Thanks for reporting. I like RE a lot. Art is right, new greens would be nice. Your pace of play was pretty good. Glad you enjoyed the round.

Thanks for the review!$78 Hot Deal is solid value for Rivers Edge. Wall-to-wall overseed, good fairways, perfect bunkers, and smooth (if slow) greens — sounds like nice conditions overall.No gators again, and 4:20 for a twosome is reasonable.Hole 8-9 plus that strong finishing stretch really make it a favorite — classic Palmer design shine. Definitely one of the better deals in the area right now.
